Mission

The mission of the Democratic Party of the 49th Ward is to provide Democrats of the 49th Ward of Chicago a transparent and grassroots local Democratic Party organization in which they can participate in the election of progressive Democratic candidates to offices that represent the 49th Ward.  Each member of the organization is empowered with the ability to vote on the endorsements the organization makes, which are binding endorsements, that are communicated to the larger community of the the 49th Ward as recommendations from the local Democratic Party.
